Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Workgroup and the Administrative Committee (AC.2) of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (BMAEK WP.30), the executive body of the TIR Convention, were held on 11-14 October 2022 in Geneva/Switzerland.​

Türkiye-Mongolia Business Forum was held at TOBB Twin Towers with the participation of Mongolian Parliament Speaker Zandanshatar Gombojav, Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Board Member Faik Yavuz, Mongolia National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) President Amartuvshin Otgondavaa, Mongolian Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry Bolorchuluun Khayangaa and Mongolian Minister of Environment and Tourism Bat-Erdene Bat-Ulzii.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) met with the participation of TOBB Board Member Hakan Ülken under the chairmanship of Kemal Yamankaradeniz, Council President of the Patent and Trademark Attorneys Council.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Beverage Industry Council convened under the chairmanship of Council President Ozan Diren to evaluate the issues on the agenda.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) TIR Committee convened via video conference.​

In order to improve the Insurance Agency profession, increase the quality and diversity of agency services, and to inform the agencies about the changing legislation and practices, the registration of the vocational training program prepared under the coordination of TOBB ETÜ SEM and TSEV has started in cooperation with the TOBB Insurance Agencies Executive Committee and the Association of Insurance, Reinsurance and Pension Companies of Türkiye (TSB).​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Climate Control Council Meeting was held at the TOBB İstanbul Service Building under the chairmanship of Council President Zeki Poyraz with the participation of TOBB Vice President of the Board of Directors Selçuk Öztürk, who is responsible for the Council.​

The opening meeting of the EULEP - European Learning Experience Platform project, financed by the European Union, was hosted by Eurochambres (Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry) in Brussels.​

The number of domestic goods certificates approved in September 2022 increased by 1% compared to September 2021. According to the Domestic Goods Communiqué (SGM 2014/35) prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Technology in accordance with Article 63 of the Public Procurement Law No. 4734 and published in the Official Gazette dated September 13, 2014 and numbered 29118, 1,272 Domestic Goods Certificates were approved by TOBB in September 2022.​
