Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy.​

Türkiye-Egypt Round Table Meeting was hosted by the President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu at TOBB Twin Towers. In addition to Hisarcıklıoğlu; Egyptian Minister of Industry and Trade Ahmed Samir Saleh, President of the Federation of Egyptian Industries Mohamed Zeki es-Suweidi, President of the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce Ahmed el-Wekil attended the meeting.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry Ahmed Samir Saleh and the accompanying delegation at a meeting hosted by Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat.​

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), stated that the contraction in SME loans reflects negatively on the entire country and sectors with a chain effect and said, “This needs to be taken into consideration. Türkiye's priority should be to maintain its current production capacity. Commercial loans should not be cut suddenly and very sharply. The demands of the real sector to access financing should not be viewed negatively in a wholesale manner.”​
