Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu participated in the “Updating the Turkey-EU Customs Union, Business Perspectives from Germany and Turkey” meeting organized by the Turkish German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TATSO) and expressed the views of the Turkish business world.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan at her office. Hisarcıklıoğlu told Minister Pekcan about the difficulties and demands of the members during the pandemic. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with members of Ankara Chamber of Commerce (ATO) Member Bread and Bakery Products, Hotel-Accommodation, Culture-Art Events and Travel Agencies - Motor Vehicles - Intercity Passenger Transportation Professional Committees via video conference. During the meeting, the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the sectors were discussed. ​

Bankkart Supply Chain Financing Project Launch was held with the participation of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and Ziraat Bank General Manager Hüseyin Aydın. With the protocol signed by Hisarcıklıoğlu and Aydın, cooperation was made for easy financing opportunities in the purchase and sale of commercial goods.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu exchanged views with Peter Clever, who was elected to the European Economic and Social Committee representing the German business world, about the work of the Turkey-EU Joint Consultative Committee next term efforts and Turkey-EU relations.​

Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, along with TOBB Vice President Ali Kopuz, TOBB Board Member Özturk Oran and Istanbul Chamber of Commerce President Şekib Avdagiç, paid a condolence visit to TOBB Vice President Tamer Kıran, who recently lost his father, Turgut Kıran.​
