According to annual research of Media Monitoring Centre, (MMC) TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarciklioglu, got the title of the most popular business man in business world in 2010.Research of the MMC has showed the most popular business people in the business world in 2010. According to the research, TOBB President Rifat Hisarciklioglu was the most talked business man of the year.​ ​

1 million people who will be trained according to the market needs will be employed

TOBB Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CCI) Council Meeting was realized in the Union Center in Ankara. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that with Ability 2010 (Beceri 2010) Project which is implemented together with Ministries of Labour and Education, each year 200 thousand people will gain the qualifications that labor market necessitates, and in this way 1 million people who will be trained according to these needs will be employed in the coming 5 years. Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized that the economic crisis continuing in the EU countries is hindering the desired level of increase in Turkey’s exports.   ​ ​

Turkish investor will produce plane and sell it to the world

Mr. Aydogan Koc was elected for the administrative board. In his remarks, he explained that he had education on aviation and space engineering in Germany and worked for a company which produces Airbus planes for 19 years. He added that he also established an engineering and consulting company 7 years ago in Munich and they also have operations as Koç Consulting at Bilkent Teknopark in Turkey for 5 years to develop cooperation between German and Turkish firms.     ​ ​

Rainhardt Freiherr Von Leoprechting is elected once again as the president of the Turkish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry(TATSO) which was established in Köln at 2003 and inaugurated by the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the President of Germany Gerhard Schröder. ​

7th Ordinary General Meeting of the Turkish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry(TATSO) was held at Köln Chamber of Commerce and Industry. President of TOBB, M. Rifat Hisarciklioglu addressed German businessmen and said: “You have the Money, we have the courage. We should collaborate. You keep the Money, we keep the courage, labor force and we both will earn.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu will attend the TATSO General Assembly in Germany

Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), will attend the 7th General Assembly of the Turkish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TATSO), which will be held on Friday, December 17th of 2010, in Cologne-Germany. A delegation composed of Presidents of Member Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of TOBB accompanying Hisarcıklıoğlu who are also members of TATSO, will come together with German businessmen in order to develop business opportunities.

Japan’s economy is worried about the fast population aging

The conference on “Trends in the Global Economy and the Challenges for Japan” was held at TOBB ETU. Faik Yavuz, Vice President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) said we should turn the Turkish-Japanese friendship into a permanent partnership by increasing mutual investments. Making a presentation about Japan’s economy, Professor Motoshige Itoh from Tokyo University indicated Japan’s biggest problem is its elderly population.

Turkey-Africa Chamber’s 2011-2012 Action Plan was signed at the African International

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of TOBB, remarked rich sources of Africa and stated everybody is responsible for the enrichment of Africa in his speech during the gala dinner organized within the African International Business Cooperation Forum. Additionally, he indicated there are potential cooperation opportunities with Africa in many fields and these should be discovered bodily.
