Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

As a part of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) MEYBEM Vocational Qualification and Certification efforts, a “Vocational Qualifications System Awareness Training” was held at the TOBB Social Facilities aimed at Chambers and Exchanges. ​

Turkey Chemical Industry Council convened in İstanbul under the chairmanship of the Union Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Vice President Ayhan Zeytinoğlu and Council President Timur Erk to discuss the developments in the chemical industry.​

Turkey Automotive Industry Council Meeting was held under the chairmanship of Council President Cengiz Erol. Vice President Osman Sever shared the information regarding 2018 business results of the sector as well as the 3-month results for 2019.​

Turkey Jewelry Industry Council convened in İstanbul to make an overall assessment of the sector with Council President İnan Altınbaş Council Members and the General Directorate of the Ministry of Commerce Export Expert Pınar Aslan attending the meeting.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Vice President Ali Kopuz took part in the Turkey-Burkina Faso Business Forum organized on occasion of Burkina Faso President Roch Marc Christian Kaboré’s official visit to Turkey.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Defense Industry Council meeting, chaired by Council President Yılmaz Küçükseyhan was held at the TOBB Social Facilities Conference Hall with the attendances of TOBB Board Member responsible for the Council, Mehmet Büyüksimitci, TOBB Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş TÜBİTAK President Hasan Mandal, President of the Defense Industry Professor Dr. Ismail Demir as well as the high-level representatives of Turkish defense and aerospace industry.​

Organized by the Turkish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TD-IHK) and the German Federation of Women Entrepreneurs (VdU) and with the support of TOBB, the Turkish German Women Entrepreneurs Meeting was held. TOBB Board Member Davut Çetin hosted the meeting attended by 80 women entrepreneurs from Turkey and Germany who shared their experiences. ​

Turkey Cosmetics and Hygiene Products Industry Council Meeting took place with the attendance of TOBB Board Member responsible for the Council Cengiz Günay, chaired by Council President Speaker Ahmet Pura with the participation of senior representatives of the private sector and civil society organizations. ​

TOBB TIR Committee, comprised of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Vice President Tamer Kıran, TOBB Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Deliba and representatives of chambers and the sector paid a courtesy visit to Deputy Minister of Commerce Rıza Tuna Turagay. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), Turkey E-commerce Council convened under TOBB Vice President Selcuk Öztürk and Council President Öget Kantarcı with attendance and contributions of Revenue Administration Group President Abdullah Altınörs and the council members to discuss current issues in the sector at the TOBB Istanbul Service Building. ​
