Agriculture and food safety training took place in Antalya
Coordinated by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and the Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the “Agriculture and Food Product Safety (HACCP-ISO 22000)” training was held in Antalya. Members of the Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry attended the training give by Food safety expert Robert Mitchell.

LCD TVs are the top durable consumer goods
TOBB Turkey Durable Consumer Goods Council President Şirzat Subaşı stated that according to the sales figures in the sector, LCD TVs are the number one selling durable consumer goods, having sold 2 million units in the last year while the second largest increase is in dishwashers.

Product Safety seminar held in Erzurum
Coordinated by TOBB and hosted by the Erzurum Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the seminar regarding Market Monitoring and Supervision Law #4703, Applications and Exports Supervision took place at the Erzurum Chamber of Commerce and Industry on May 8th, 2012. Attending the seminar were Erzurum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ETSO) Board Deputy Chairman Hasan Akal, Secretary General Att. Abdulkadir Ungan, ETSO Council members and private sector representatives.

Turkish speaking entrepreneurs hosted at TOBB
The 14th Turkish Speaking Entrepreneurs Program, initially started in June 2005, organized in cooperation by TOBB and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in order to strengthen bonds with Turkish speaking entrepreneurs in the Balkans, Eastern Europe, Caucasia, Middle East, Central Asia countries, Germany and Russia has started.

Venture Capital Council assessed developments in the sector
The TOBB Venture Capital Council held its second meeting of the year in İstanbul. Attending the meeting were venture capital fund directors, relevant public and civil organizations in addition to the TÜBİTAK-TEYDEB Acting President Fatih Yülek.
