Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu informed U.S. investors about the earthquake disaster in Türkiye and requested support at the meeting on “Türkiye-US Business Forum: Prioritization of the Earthquake Zone” organized by TOBB and the American Chamber of Commerce in Washington.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the meeting at the TOBB Trade Center in the United States. In his statement on his social media account, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “As of this month, we are adding the Turkey-US Logistics Distribution Network function to our TOBB Trade Center, which we opened in Chicago at the beginning of 2021, with the support of our Ministry of Commerce. Now we will be able to deliver the products of our Turkish companies to 50 states of the USA.”​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Board of Directors meeting was held in İstanbul under the chairmanship of TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu with the participation of Treasury and Finance Minister Nureddin Nebati. At the meeting, demands and expectations regarding the economy and the earthquake region were evaluated. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the workshop organized by the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council on the occasion of March 8th Women's Day.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President and Togg Chairman M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev at Togg's campus in Gebze. At the meeting, Omuraliev was informed about the work. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with Ambassador David O'Sullivan, Special Representative of the European Union International, and Ambassador Nikolaus Meyer-Landrut, Head of the European Union Delegation to Türkiye, at a working lunch held at TOBB. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President and Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Arbitration Center Chairman M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the second meeting of the OIC Arbitration Center Executive Board held online.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President and Türkiye-EU Joint Consultative Committee Co-Chair M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the foreign relations session of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC).​

The Presidents of the 12 Chambers of Industry within the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) met under the chairmanship of TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu to discuss what can be done to revive industry, trade and employment in the earthquake region.​
