M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, president of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), stated that Turkey is an attractive production center for the surrounding countries and said, “At this point, I invite US investors to consider Turkey as an investment and trading base.”​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Women Entrepreneurs Board (KGK) March 8th International Women's Day event was held at the TOBB Twin Towers. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and TOBB KGK President Nurten Öztürk gave the opening speeches at event attended by women entrepreneurs.​

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), evaluated the growth figures for 2021, announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT).​

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), said of the situation of the transporters remaining in the region after Russia's attack on Ukraine, “As a result of our initiatives, the International Road Transport Association (IRU) has called on the European Commission and route countries to return our transporters in the region to our country without visas and passes. We’ve seen support from many countries.”​

Fuat Miras, a former President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), has passed away. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, who published a message on the passing of Miras, who served as TOBB Vice President between June 4, 1986 and January 9, 1996, and TOBB President between January 9, 1996 and June 16, 2001, said, “It is with great sadness that I learned of Mr. Fuat Miras' passing. I pray for Allah's grace upon him and extend our condolences to his family, relatives and community.”​

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), attended the 100th board meeting of the Turkish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which was established in 2004. Hisarcıklıoğlu thanked everyone who contributed to this structure after the meeting in Berlin.​

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), met with Myron Brilliant, Senior Vice President of the American Chamber of Commerce, Khush Choksy, Vice President, and the Turkish team at a meeting organized via video conference.​

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), paid a congratulatory visit to Bekir Bozdağ, who was appointed Minister of Justice. ​

TOBB and the American Companies Association (AmCham Turkey) have taken action to support entrepreneurs in the U.S. market. With the support of UPS, mentoring services will be provided to selected companies and companies will have the opportunity to export e-exports to the USA. Applications have started as of today.​​
