Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with officials of the Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investment and Export Credit (ICIEC), which insures export loans and investments based in Jeddah under the Islamic Development Bank. At the meeting, cooperation opportunities were evaluated. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu signed a trilateral memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Islamic Countries (ICCIA), of which Hisarcıklıoğlu is also the Vice President, and the Mecca and Medina Chambers of Commerce and Industry.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the Stars of Gaziantep Award Ceremony, which was also attended by Trade Minister Mehmet Muş. In addition to Hisarcıklıoğlu and Muş, Gaziantep Governor Davut Gül, Gaziantep Chamber of Industry Chairman Adnan Ünverdi, Gaziantep Chamber of Industry Council President Adil Sani Konukoğlu, Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin and many Chambers and Commodity Exchange Presidents were present at the ceremony.​

The award ceremony, which was held on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Nizip Chamber of Commerce, was held with the participation of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, TOBBUYUM Chairman Cemil Çiçek, Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin, Nizip Mayor Mehmet Sarı and many Chambers and Commodity Exchange Presidents.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Nizip Chamber of Commerce and attended the opening ceremony of the Mediation and Compliance Center. TOBBUYUM Chairman Cemil Çiçek, Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin, Nizip Mayor Mehmet Sarı and many Chambers and Commodity Exchange Presidents also took part in the ceremony.​

Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, stating that Türkiye should strengthen its position as a regional and global economic power with more trade and investment, said, “Countries in this region want to be more integrated into the global economy and take part in global value chains. With our past experiences, our dynamic structure that adapts quickly and by establishing new partnerships, we can get the biggest share in this process.”​
