The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu paid a condolence visit to Özden Çakır, Gemlik Commodity Exchange President, who lost his father, Hüseyin Çakır, last month. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the Gemlik Chamber of Commerce and Industry and spoke with Paşa Ağdemir, Gemlik CCI President, and council members. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “The destruction of forests triggers climate change. Therefore, protecting our nature and water resources should be our most important national issue. Let there be no doubt, wounds will be healed. As TOBB, we started a fundraiser. More than 15 million aid was collected in one day.”​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu held an evaluation meeting with the heads of chambers/exchanges of Muğla and Antalya provinces/districts regarding the forest fires in Antalya and Muğla. The meeting consulted on the effects of fires, what was done and what can be done. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu received Niyazi Akdaş, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Youth League Sports Club, and the accompanying delegation. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu paid a visit to Halil İbrahim Yılmaz, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ankara Chamber of Commerce, who was re-elected as Chairman of the Ankara City Council. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) donated 1.5 million saplings on behalf of all its members. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said in a statement regarding the sapling donation, “We started with the idea of a sapling for each of our members. As TOBB, our 365 Chambers and Exchanges, 64 Sector Councils, and our Women and Young Entrepreneurs Boards in 81 provinces, we are donating 1.5 million saplings on behalf of our 1.5 million members to restore our burning forests and to restore them to a greener Turkey.”​
