The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, at the Association of Vegetable Oil Industries (BYSD) 39th Ordinary General Assembly, drew attention to the fact that 85% of the vegetable oil consumed in Turkey is sunflower oil, said, “Vegetable oil industry depends on imports. We are losing billions of dollars every year. We need to double our sunflower cultivation areas.”​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the joint meeting of the chambers and commodity exchanges of the Ankara province. Attending the meeting hosted by Ankara Chamber of Commerce Gürsel Baran were Ankara Chamber of Industry President Nurettin Özdebir and Ankara Commodity Exchange President Faik Yavuz as well as Presidents of Beypazarı, Çubuk, Haymana, Polatlı and Şereflikoçhisar Chambers and Commodity Exchanges. TESK President Bendevi Palandöken also took part in the meeting.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the Kahramanmaraş Chamber of Commerce and Industry and convened with the Board Members, Councilors as well as the Women and Young Entrepreneurs Board Members.​

Speaking at the Regional Consultation Meeting held in Kahramanmaraş the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu drew attention to the employment campaign, talking about the incentives provided in this regard. Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “As TOBB, Chambers and Commodity Exchanges, we are engaged in this mobilization in 81 provinces and 160 counties. We have invited all our businesses to participate in the campaign. Here, I call again on our business world and employers in all surrounding cities, especially in Kahramanmaraş. Take advantage of this historical support, join the employment campaign.”​

Organized in cooperation by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Turkey National Committee, the “Opportunities for Turkey in the Digital Age: Public Policy, Innovation and Growth” Conference was held in Istanbul.​

Körfez Chamber of Commerce President Recep Öztürk and the accompanying delegation visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. A mutual exchange of views took place at the meeting. ​

Ödemis Commodity Exchange President A. Latif Aka visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. The meeting in which views were exchanged was held closed to the press. ​

Japanese Ambassador to Ankara, Akio Miyajima visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. Views on joint cooperation issues were exchanged during the meeting.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Acıpayam which recently suffered an earthquake. Visiting the Acıpayam Chamber of Commerce, Hisarcıklıoğlu extended his condolences to the Board of Directors President Mehmet Sürücüoğlu, Board of Directors and Council Members.​

Speaking in regards to the the incentives prepared under the campaign began with the call of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, at the Employment Mobilization 2019 Denizli meeting, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu urged for more employment. Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “A new, comprehensive and bold incentive package has been prepared. Every new employment to be made until April 30th, will receive wage-tax-premiums from the government. After that, there will be an exemption from employment taxes and premiums for at least 9 months. So, for every 1 additional employment you provide, there is approximately 20,000 TRY in support annually.”​
