The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu assessed the 2019 third quarter growth figures. Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the first concrete signal that the process of economic growth has begun:​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, attended the 14th Meeting of the Turkish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TATSO) General Assembly held in Berlin.​

In Berlin for the 14th Turkish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TATSO) Ordinary General Assembly, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and the delegation accompanying him attended the consultation and information meeting. ​

Speaking at the panel on “The Role of Arbitration in Increasing Trade and Investments in the Islamic World” at the 35th meeting of the COMCEC (Standing Committee on Economic and Commercial Co-operation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation), the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President and the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (ICCIA), Vice President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stressed that they have taken a step of historical importance and established the Islamic Arbitration Center. Hisarcıklıoğlu, “İstanbul is hosting the center. Our government has provided support. We as TOBB allocated space. We've prepared all the opportunities for it to work in the best way possible. As someone who has seen the arbitration personally, I'd like to say this. I believe that this center will further raise the trade and investments between us."​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the Anatolian Lions Businessmen's Association (ASKON).​

Speaking at the 35th COMCEC (Standing Committee on Economic and Commercial Co-operation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation) meeting, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) president and the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (ICCIA) Vice President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stressed that the way to overcome the difficulties of the Islamic world is to come together and increase trade.​

Turkey-EU GCC Co-Chairs M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and Panagiotis Gkofas agreed that the first meeting of Turkey-EU JCC 2020 should be held in Turkey.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu who participated in the Final and Award Ceremony Program of the Women Writing the Future project in collaboration with TOBB, TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council and Turkcell, urged women to encourage their children to become entrepreneurs. “Success has no gender. The economy does not have gender," Hisarcıklıoğlu said, pointing out that women will still have the biggest share in breaking down their prejudices against women.​
