Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu expressed great sadness for the loss of our soldiers in the air strikes in Idlib, Syria.​

The organizations which comprise up the Turkish Wing of the Turkey-EU Joint Consultation Committee (JCC) issued a joint statement on the martyrdom of our soldiers in the treacherous attack in Idlib. The statement is as follows:​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with Ambassador Christian Berger, President of the EU Delegation to Turkey, at a working dinner held at TOBB. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with the Islamic Chamber of Trade, Industry and Agriculture (ICCIA) Secretary General Yousef Khalawi at TOBB University of Economics and Technology. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the Board of Directors meeting of the Turkey Asset Fund, chaired by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, during meetings on 17 December 2019 and 23 January 2020, met with Albanian Finance and Economy Minister Anila Denaj and the delegation members participating in the training program with the participation of representatives of the Albanian Ministry of Commerce, the Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Investment Support Agency of Albania and exchanged ideas.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and Bursa Commodity Exchange (TB) President and TOBB Board Member Özer Matlı met with Bursa Parliamentary Representatives and Bursa Provincial and District Chamber/Commodity Exchange Presidents at TOBB Union Center.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the meeting of the High Advisory Board of the Turkish Product Specialized Exchange Inc. (TÜRİB). ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu participated in the Schools to Tomorrow program organized by the Ministry of National Education at the Presidential Complex.​

The ICC (International Chamber of Commerce) Entrepreneurship Center established a Regional Office in Istanbul and became a partner in the 'Facebook Station' created in collaboration with TOBB, Facebook and Habitat. With this cooperation, it is aimed to provide businesses in Turkey with access to cross-border markets and to organize a variety of trainings and programs focused on exports. TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stressed that entrepreneurs have taken an important step to make it easier for them to become active players in global trade.​
