Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that TOBB’s Chambers and Commodity Exchanges system has come to a point where they are exporting it to the world, “For example, there are requests from the Turkic Republics and the 57 Islamic countries. They want to learn our chamber/commodity exchange system.”​

A step was taken to integrate vocational education with the real sector. The Vocational Training Cooperation Protocol was signed between the Ministry of National Education, the Union Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and TOBB Economics and Technology University at the ceremony hosted by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and attended by Education Minister Ziya Selçuk. Evaluating the protocol as ‘a historic day for both the education system and our business world,’ Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We are taking a step that we have voiced the necessity of for years but have been unable to bring to life. We are integrating vocational education with the real sector.”​

Employment Mobilization 2019 Presentation Meeting was held with the attendances of Family, Labor and Social Services Minister Zehra Zümrüt Selcuk, Treasury and Finance Minister Berat Albayrak and Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy and hosted by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.​

Attending the Regional Consultation Meeting held in Manisa with the Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu called on the business world to make use of the opportunities provided by the government, especially regarding employment. Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “In the last 2-3 months, there have been positive developments in foreign currency and interest rates. The decrease in bank loans came to an end. In short, compared to yesterday, we are able to better see ahead clearly.” ​​

Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to Ankara, Annika Molin-Hellgren visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu at his office. ​
