The Call to Unity Platform: “We will persist despite vile plots”

The Call to Unity Platform, formed by the NGOs covering every aspect of organized society in every region of Turkey, gave a message of unity against terrorist assaults and with the slogan, “Not without you…” called everyone to join the march to be held on Sunday, October 30th in Istanbul.​ ​

The first aid convoy from TOBB has departed. The aid convoys will continue

Taking action in regards to the 7.2 Richter scale earthquake which occurred in Van, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) has sent off its first aid convoy to the area.​ ​

The disaster in Van pains us greatly. We must embrace each other

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu released a statement regarding the 7.2 Van earthquake. Stating that the country is facing a significant natural disaster, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We pray that the loss of life is not great. We present our condolences to the region’s residents and to our nation. Our people, who have been through many difficult tribulations involving earthquakes, share this pain intimately. We must embrace each other in the face of these troubles.”​ ​

NGOs form a clenched fist against terror

Thirteen Non Governmental Organizations, TOBB among them, which represent all parts of organized society from all parts of Turkey visited the Prime Minister Erdoğan and discussed the matter of ‘terror’. Proclaiming the joint declaration, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, stating that they vehemently condemn terror said, “It is the day for acting in unity for a peaceful and strong Turkey.”​ ​
