Brazil has become an important market for Turkish businessmen

Brazilian Ambassador Marcelo Jardim met with the TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu for dinner. During the meeting, Hisarcıklıoğlu said that Brazilian President Dilma Roussef’s visit to Turkey in October is very gratifying. He stated that Brazil, the rising star of the Latin Americas, has increasingly become attractive to Turkish men and as a result, has become an important market.​ ​

In his message regarding the terror attack in the Şemdinli county of Hakkari, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that terrorism, the enemy of humanity, is the chosen weapon of the elements of animosity and hate which target our unity and solidarity, and said, “We can only repay our debts to the sainted martyrs who gave their live for this country by putting an end to terror and giving no quarter. The blood of our martyrs is spilled for the abolishment of terror which threatens our peace and security, so that our flag flies in peace and fraternity and our country leads the race in modern civilization. This is our vow to our martyrs.”​ ​

A helping hand from TOBB for Africa’s struggle against hunger

TOBB has started an aid campaign to address the hunger disaster in Africa by donating one million TL. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out the scale of the disaster and said, “I call out to the whole Turkish business world and look forward to their support.”​ ​
