Hisarcıklıoğlu met with Azerbaijani Economy Minister Cabbarov

The President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, who is in Baku for the General Assembly of the Union of Turkic Chambers of Commerce and Industry, met with Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Cabbarov. During the meeting, they exchanged views on Türkiye-Azerbaijan economic and trade relations. ​

“Now it’s the banks’ turn”

The President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, said in a statement regarding the Central Bank’s policy rate cut, “The Central Bank reduced the policy rate by 250 basis points to 47.50 percent after about two years. Now it is the banks’ turn. We expect them to reflect this discount primarily on SME loan interest rates and to support production and employment.” ​

Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the Ankara Chamber of Commerce (ATO) 29th Term Assembly Members Economic Consultation Meeting.
