Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and TOBB Board of Directors Members met with European Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EUROCHAMBRES) CEO Ben Butters as a part of their Brussels itinerary. At the meeting, views were exchanged on the agenda and expectations of the European business world. ​

A ceremony was held in front of the Kahramanmaraş Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mehmet Balduk Assembly Hall for Mehmet Balduk, former Vice President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and former president of the Kahramanmaraş Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who died of a heart attack yesterday. Here, prayers were offered with recitals of the Holy Quran.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President and Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (ICCIA) Vice President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the Board of Directors and General Assembly meetings of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, of which 57 countries are members, held in Oman. ​

Mehmet Balduk, former Vice President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and former president of the Kahramanmaraş Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has passed away. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu issued a condolence message on Balduk's passing.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu prayed for the grace of Allah upon the elected Mufti of İskeçe (Xanthi), Ahmet Mete, one of the prominent figures of the Turkish minority from Western Thrace.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu issued a message on the occasion of July 15th Democracy and National Unity Day.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in a message on the occasion of the Feast of Sacrifice, emphasized that the holidays are the most meaningful days that reinforce unity and solidarity and remind the feelings of fraternity, and said, “I wish that the love and peace at the core of the holidays will prevail all over the world.”​
