Milas olive oil has been registered with the EU

Milas Olive Oil was registered as a geographical marker in the European Union. M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), said, "We are proud that the geographical markers, which are our national treasures, are registered first in our country and then in the European Union."​

Top 100 fastest growing companies announced

At the TOBB Turkey 100 Award Ceremony organized with the contributions of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), TEPAV and TOBB ETU, Turkey's top 100 fastest growing companies were announced to the public according to the sales revenue growth rate ranking in 2016-2018. Ankara-based Gintek Construction Inc. was the fastest growing company with a rate of 4357.5%. In the ranking, FS Foreign Trade from İstanbul took second place; Ankara company Profen Defense and Security Technologies took third place; Ravago Chemicals Turkey Chemical Raw Materials from İstanbul took fourth place while İstanbul-based SBS Scientific Bio Solutions took fifth place. The award ceremony, attended by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan, was held via webinar.​

Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with members of Ankara Chamber of Commerce (ATO) Member Bread and Bakery Products, Hotel-Accommodation, Culture-Art Events and Travel Agencies - Motor Vehicles - Intercity Passenger Transportation Professional Committees via video conference. During the meeting, the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the sectors were discussed. ​
