The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu expressed great sadness over the passing of İbrahim Girgin, President of the Board of Directors of İpsala Commodity Exchange.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the Aegean and Marmara Regional meeting held via video conference and consulted with the Heads of Regional Chambers/Exchanges.​

The problem of the inability to collect on cheques, which was conveyed by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu as a request of the Turkish business world, was solved with a of the Ministry of Commerce communique.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu celebrated the Day of Labor and Solidarity on May 1st. Emphasizing that workers and employers are integral parts of a whole, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We can only reach the level of prosperity we desire with the common solidarity of entrepreneurs, industrialists and workers. In our culture, sweat of the brow is sacred and valuable. Our first goal is to produce hand in hand. It is not possible to share without producing.”​

Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the meeting organized by Karen Donfried, nominated Deputy Secretary of State of the United States, and Peter Clever, co-chairman of the Turkey-EU Joint Affairs Committee and the German Marshall Fund.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they started to issue “Trust Seals” to e-commerce sites with the authorization of the Ministry of Commerce, and said, “Our consumers are able to shop with peace of mind on these sites. When you are shopping, be sure to look for the ‘Trust Seal’.”​
