Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the Islamic Chamber General Assembly

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the General Assembly Meeting of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In addition to the General Assembly which Hisarcıklıoğlu attended as Deputy Chairman, he also had the opportunity to meet with the Presidents of the Chambers Unions of many countries in Jeddah.​

TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, along with the President and representatives of NGOs constituting the Turkey wing of Turkey-EU Joint Consultative Committee, attended the “Condemnation of Persecution; Support for Jerusalem” rally in Yenikapı, İstanbul, to show solidarity for the people of Palestine.​

Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in his May 19th Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day addressed, recalled that Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk gifted this historic day to young people and said that the country's future bright future and civilization will be drawn with the help of young people.​

“The illegal move which the US and Israel have launched together is a clear provocation”

Turkey-EU Joint Consultative Committee Turkish members released a joint press statement regarding the massacre which resulted from the United States moving its embassy in Israel to Jerusalem. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, reading the joint declaration, stated that the insistence of the US administration on its erroneous move to move its embassy in Israel to Jerusalem resulting in the Jerusalem massacre, which whill be written shamefully into the annals of history, said, “The illegal move which the US and Israel have launched together is a betrayal to Jerusalem; a betrayal of peace and tranquility; a betrayal of humanity; a disrespectful attitude towards the whole Islamic world and an open provocation.”​

The distribution of duties for the newly elected Board of Directors presided over by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu as per the results of the election held at the Union of Chambers and Stock Exchanges of Turkey’s 74th General Assembly on May 15th, 2018, are as follows:​

Hisarcıklıoğlu reelected TOBB President

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu was re-elected. Hisarcıklıoğlu became TOBB President for the next four years, voted in unanimously as President during the 74th General Assembly held at TOBB Economics and Technology University.​

Turkey will be an economic giant of not only its region but of the whole world

74th General Assembly of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges Turkey (TOBB) was held with wide participation at the TOBB Economy and Technology University. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated in his speech that they are confident of the business community, “Our goals are immense. Turkey will be an economic giant of not only its region but of the whole world.”​
