TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu was granted an honorary citizenship by residents of Malatya. Hisarcıklıoğlu expressed his gratitude for the title. “I'm honored to be a citizen of Malatya, which has produced so many great individuals. I would like to thank all of my brothers and sisters from Malatya, especially our esteemed Mayor, Minister of Foreign Affairs, who have granted me this honor.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the opening ceremony of the Life Without Obstacles Center Service Building and Dreams Without Obstacles Exhibition of the Malatya Battalgazi Municipality.​

Attending the 13th Turkish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TATSO) Ordinary General Assembly, TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and his delegation visited the Berlin Turkish Embassy, met with Ambassador Ali Kemal Aydın.​

TOBB President and EUROCHAMBRES Vice President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the EUROCHAMBRES Plenary Meeting held in Brussels.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the meeting held with the participation of Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev and discussed investment opportunities in Kazakhstan. ​
