Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and the Banks Association of Turkey (TBB) Board of Directors held a joint meeting. The meeting at TOBB's Istanbul Service Building was held under the chairmanship of TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and TBB President Hüseyin Aydın. Recent developments in international markets and in Turkey's economy, the latest situation in the money and capital markets, the recommendations of the corporate and financial sectors and expectations were evaluated at the meeting of the real sector and the financial sector with participation of the highest level representatives of both sectors.​

Romanian Prime Minister Viorica Dancila, accompanied by a delegation comprised of Deputy Prime Minister Ana Birchall, Minister of National Defense Mihai Viorel Fifor, Minister of Finance Eugen Orlando Teodorovici, Minister of Transport Lucian Shova, Minister of EU Funds and Minister of Education Rovana Plumb, Minister of Business, Trade and Entrepreneurship Stefan Radu Oprea, Health Minister Sorina Pitea visited TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.​

Turkey-EU Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) Turkey Wing members, led by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, visited İyi Party Chairwoman Meral Akşener.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the opening ceremony of 225th Store of NG Kütahya Ceramics.​

Turkey-EU Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) members of Turkey's Wing, under the leadership of TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu.​

Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, stating that they support the Challenge Program inflation announced by the Treasury and Finance Minister Berat Albayrak, “We will adopt the fight against inflation with our chambers and exchanges in 81 provinces and 160 provinces.”​

Mersin Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Ayhan Kızıltan, along with board members, visited TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.​

Burhaniye Chamber of Commerce Chairman Mustafa Aysel and the members of the board of directors visited TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the public and the private sector could work together to combat inflation, “We find it important and support the Inflation Prevention Program prepared by the Treasury and Finance Ministry and the fact that Minister Berat Albayrak is focused on maintaining fiscal discipline and ensuring price stability.”​
