TOBB President and TOBB Economics and Technology University (TOBB ETÜ) Board of Trustees Chairman M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Our proudest project as TOBB has been to give Turkey such an educational institution because there is a strong relationship between the prosperity and the education level of a country. In my opinion, the most efficient contemporary factory that will make a nation rich is the university. Investing in education is the greatest service rendered unto the country.”​

TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the well-established automotive giants are competing with each other in order to attain new generation of automobile technologies and said, “That's why this is exactly the time for Turkey's automobile.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with Labor and Social Security Minister Jülide Sarıeroğlu at the workshop held in TOBB.​

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), released a statement regarding the 3rd Tourism Summit organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism to be held on November 1-3, 2017.​

Facebook will launch a comprehensive global project, #SheMeansBusiness, to support women who are setting up their own businesses and want to be entrepreneurs, together with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council in Turkey. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that, “The organization of production in the first industrial revolution had put women in a disadvantageous position in the economy, but in the new industrial revolution, things are changing and reason and digital technology have begun to take the its place of the muscle power.”​

EUROCHAMBRES Vice Chairman and TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu will continue to serve in the 2018-2019 period as Vice Chairman of the Council on the Eurochambres.​

In his October 29th Republic Day holiday, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “The form of government in which the will of the nation is dominant is the most suitable for the century we are in. The Republic, inherited from our ancestors, will be the best guide for our children in progressing to a brighter future.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım at the Çırağan Palace.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu signed the cooperation agreement with the Uzbekistan State Investment Committee and the establishment agreement of the Turkish-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum at the Presidential Complex.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “If the Aegean Region is growing, then Turkey is growing. If Aegean is in trouble, so is Turkey. This is why the Aegean is unique. We have to pay special attention here. Today the Aegean Region is performing greatly, producing domestic and export trade volumes totaling 534bn TRY.”​
