TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, along with a business delegation, met with Russian First Deputy Minister of Economic Development Alexey Likhachev. In a statement following the meeting which took place in Moscow, Hisarcıklıoğlu reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin may visit Turkey in October, “We anticipate that pioneering projects such as Turkish Flow will be discussed in addition to lifting limitations imposed on Turkish businessmen.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, along with a business delegation, met with Deputy Head of the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation Hamit Mavliyarov in Moscow.​

TOBB President and EUROCHAMBRES Vice President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the EUROCHAMBRES Plenary Meeting.​

TOBB President and Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (ICCIA) Vice President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in Konya for the 24th ICCIA Board Meeting, visited the Konya OIZ, Konya Commodity Exchange and Karatay University along with ICCIA President Sheikh Saleh Kamel and ICCIA Board Members. Kamel praised the effectiveness of the Turkish private sector, stating that it should provide an example to other Islamic countries.​

In his Eid al Adha address, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the people of Turkey have undergone a difficult period but are now focused on working towards a stronger Turkey.​

TOBB President and Eurochambres Deputy President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended Eurochambres Joint Members Meeting held at the TOBB Brussels Office. Hosting the meeting, Hisarcıklıoğlu met with the most important names of the international business community.​

Kütahya and Counties Chamber and Exchange Joint Meeting was held at the Kütahya Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the attendance of TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, during his speech at the foundation laying ceremony for the July 15th Martyrs Ceramics Factory stated that TOBB was the first civil society organization to declare that they would recognize no other authority than the will of the people and democracy immediately following the announcement of the coup on the night of July 15th.​
