The business community advocates the removal of borders for commerce
Convening with over 100 business people from 60 countries in Singapore, B20 Turkey Chair and TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu assessed the results of the survey they’ve held with the representatives of the global business community. Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the priority item on the business community’s agenda at the moment was “Signing of the Bali Agreement and Removal of Borders for Commerce.”

In his press release regarding the March 18th Martyrs’ Remembrance Day and the 100th Anniversary of the Çanakkale Naval Victory, TOBB President M. Şadan Kalkavan has passed away
TOBB Council of Maritime Commerce Chambers Member, businessman and former Fenerbahçe administrator, Şadan Kalkavan has passed away. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that Kalkavan’s passing is a great loss for both the business and the sports community, “We have lost an important elder who left behind important services rendered.”

TOBB’s gift to our culture, Dede Korkut
At end of a long effort by TOBB, the Book of Dede Korkut has been restored and presented to current day culture. The launching ceremony was hosted by TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu and attended by Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu.
