Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Akhism culture has a special place in our tradition. It is the root of our community. It is the first profession organization in the world. It is the organization of traders, industrialists and craftsmen.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Mehmet Özhaseki who is serving as Environment and Urbanism Minister of the 65th government, congratulating him and wishing him success.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Bülent Tüfenkci at his office who is serving as Customs and Commerce Minister of the 65th government, congratulating him. ​

Speaking at the 4th International Future of the Automobile Sector and Convergence for Solution Conference, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu drew attention to the potential of the automobile sector in Turkey, “We have plans for Turkey, which has become a production base for the automobile sector, to become a technology and design base. The ideal place for investment by Europe and the Middle East is Turkey.” Hisarcıklıoğlu, in regards to its ambitions in being the host for the domestic automobile, said, “Domestic automobile will raise Konya to champions’ league.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and İSTAC Board Chair Prof. Ziya Akıncı met with TOBB Board Vice Chairs Halim Mete and Ali Kopuz, TOBB Board Members Cengiz Günay, Bülent Karakuş, İSTAC Vice Chair Mustafa Çıkrıkçıoğlu, Board Members Müjdat Keçeci, Mehmet Rifat Bacanlı and Hakan Öztatar to discuss the endeavors of the İstanbul Artbiration Center (İSTAC) with them.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu expressed his wish for the success of the newly formed 65th government under Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım. Hisarcıklıoğlu said in his statement:​

Speaking at the 62nd General Assembly of ICC Turkey, ICC Turkey National Committee and TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that a year of great upheavals both internationally and domestically is behind us, “Despite all of these upheavals and uncertainties, our economy retains its dynamism, showing its robust foundations.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu celebrated the “Insurance Week” held during the last week of May every year in order to raise awareness to insurance.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in his Bara’ah Night press release, stated that this is a night to seek redemption from the Creator; a time for prayer and repentance.​
