Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The G20 expansion groups representing the business world (B20), civil society (C20), syndicates (L20), academics (T20), women (W20) and youth (Y20) called for “support for the development programs of the countries harboring the highest number of Syrian refugees,” in their proclamation regarding the refugee crisis.​

Moderated by Muhtar Kent, the general session taking place following the B20 Summit opening with B20 Turkey Chair and TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu’s keynote speech discussed problems and expectations of world trade and economic issues.​

Speaking at the opening of the B20 Antalya Summit, B20 Turkey Chair and TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that G20 must take steps to reduce ambiguity and ensure stability in global markets.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President and B20 Turkey Chair M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu signed a cooperation agreement with China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Chair Jiang Zengwei.​

At the signature ceremony between the World SME Forum and OECD, TOBB President and B20 Chair M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the World SME Forum would act as the voice of all SMEs.​

TOBB President and B20 Turkey Chair M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the handing off ceremony of T20 Chair to China. Directing the Think-tanks 20 (T20) during Turkey’s G20 2015 Term Chairmanship, TEPAV handed off the duty to the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Shanghai Institute of International Relations and the Renmin University.​

B20 Turkey Chair and TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, along with B20 Board Members, met with the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the dinner hosted by Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu at the Çankaya Palace.​

Competition Council Chair Prof. Dr. Ömer Torlak visited TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu at his office.​

The President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan hosted representatives of G20 development groups.​
