Hosted by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and attended by the Development Minister Cevdet Yılmaz and US Chamber of Commerce Delegation, the “Healthcare Sector Policy Seminar” to discuss healthcare and pharmaceutical sector investment opportunities as a part of the Economic Transformation Program.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, emphasizing that Central Bank lowering loan rate cap also decreases the funding costs for banks, said, “Banks should reflect this decrease with all due haste, if they don’t, the Central Bank lowering the cap will have no meaning.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the construction sector is a driving force for Turkey and should be considered to have strategic importance.​

Evrim Aras has been elected to the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs’ Council chair while Ali Sabancı has been reelected as TOBB Youth Entrepreneurs’ Council Chair. TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu requested price advantage for women entrepreneurs in public bids.​

B20 Turkey held its first Regional Consultation Forum in Jeddah with the participation of around 150 businessmen from Saudi Arabia and Gulf Countries. Turkey’s G20 priorities were met with interest during the Forum in which TOBB President and B20 Turkey President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that in the present state of affairs, it is no longer enough to be a self-sufficient country.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the General Assembly of the Association of Balkan Chambers (ABC) held in Macedonia.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu hosted Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco Lotfi Aouad at his office.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu hosted Holland Ambassador Ron Keller at his office. During the meeting views in regards to the Holland trade delegations (Holland-Turkey Business Tour 2015) organized by the Ankara Holland Embassy for the development of economic relations between Holland and Turkey.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited French Ambassador Laurent Bili at his office. During the meeting, bilateral economic and commercial relations between the two countries were discussed as well as EU relations.​

During his speech at the opening of the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO) Altınparmak Branch Office TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the new service building would bring service to the members and congratulated BTSO Chairman İbrahim Burkay and Bursa Municipality Director Recep Altepe for their contributions to the project.​
