Hisarcıklıoğlu toured the chamber and exchange booths with TBMM Speaker Çiçek and Minister Yazıcı

The President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu toured the booths set up in the TOBB Union Center’s garden with the Speaker of the National Grand Assembly of Turkey, Cemil Çiçek and the Minister of Customs and Commerce, Hayati Yazıcı after the Honorable Service Certificate and Plaque Ceremony.​ ​

Honorable Service Certificates were presented to TOBB General Assembly delegates who have fulfilled their 10th, 20th and 51st years of service by the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly Cemil Çiçek, Customs and Commerce Minister Hayati Yazıcı and TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu on Saturday, May 19th at the TOBB Union Center in Ankara.​ ​

Conclusion report for the Citizens’ Constitution Meetings presented to TBMM Speaker Çiçek

Speaking at the meeting wherein the conclusion report for the4 Citizens’ Constitution Meetings was presented to the Speaker of the TBMM Cemil Çiçek, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Our hope is that the results of these consultations be taken note of during the process of preparation for the new constitution. This was the wish of the citizens who set aside their business in order to consult on what they want from a new constitution.”​ ​

GTİ has become a role model

Customs and Tourism Enterprises Co Inc (GTİ) 2011 Ordinary General Assembly was held at the TOBB Union Center Social Facilities with the attendance of the TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. In his speech, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that GTİ, with its successes and projects, has become a role model not just in Turkey but throughout the world.​ ​

Esendere, Kapıköy, Dilucu and Çıldır-Aktaş Gates being modernized. Halkalı Customs moving to Çatalca

The protocol for the modernization of 4 customs gates and the reconstruction of the Halkalı Customs Office to a 220 acre plot in Çatalca was signed by the Customs and Commerce Minister Hayati Yazıcı and TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that TOBB would be investing 225 million TL for the 5 projects.​ ​

Hisarcıklıoğlu: Our sorrow for the martyrs who sacrifice their lives so that ours may go on is immense

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu made statement regarding our soldiers who were martyred in a confrontation with terrorist forces in the Amanos Mountains in Hatay. Condemning the violence of terror, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “It is impossible to put into words the dearness and the place in our hearts our soldiers hold who sacrificed their lives so that our lives may continue, for our unity and solidarity. Our sorrow is immense.”​ ​

TOBB President and TOBB ETU Board of Trustees President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with the principals of the 5 science high schools and Anatolia high schools built by TOBB and handed over to the Nation Education Ministry.​ ​
