Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The 20th anniversary of the Turkish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TATSO), founded by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce, was celebrated in Berlin with the participation of Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat and TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.​

Organized by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Türkiye Creative Industries Council, Türkiye's first “Creative Economy Summit”, which will last for 2 days, started at TOBB Twin Towers. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said that the summit will enable the sector to announce public supports more effectively and to develop potential collaborations.​

Speaking at the Türkiye-Kazakhstan Business Forum, M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), stated that the world is undergoing a great change and said, “The center of gravity of the global economy is shifting from the west to the east. In such an environment, the cooperation between Türkiye and Kazakhstan will change the fate of the whole region.”​

Türkiye - Kazakhstan Round Table meeting was held at TOBB with the participation of Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, Deputy Minister of Trade Mustafa Tuzcu, Deputy Minister of Transport Enver İskurt, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov, Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Galymzhan Koishybayev, Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan Arman Shakkalıyev, Minister of Transport of Kazakhstan Marat Karabayev, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of DEIK Nail Olpak, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Ankara Yerkebulan Sapıyev and business people. The views and suggestions of the business world were heard at the meeting. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and President of the Federal Republic of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier at the Presidential Complex.​

The Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) working lunch was hosted by M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), with the participation of Mustafa Tuzcu, Deputy Minister of Trade, and Gerassimos Thomas, Director of DG TAXUD, Directorate General for Customs Clearance and General Directorate of the EU Commission.​
