Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Tourism Sector Seminar was held in cooperation by TOBB and the US Chamber of Commerce in İstanbul.​

The 62nd YOİKK Direction Committee convened under Committee Chair Economy Minister Undersecretary İbrahim Şenel at the Undersecretariat of the Treasury.​

Representatives of plastics, rubbers and composites sectors connived at TOBB. The sector’s dependency on imports was discussed during the first meeting of the newly formed TOBB Turkey Plastics, Rubbers and Composites Sector Council.​

Funded by the EU Turkey Delegation and carried out by TOBB, the EU Information Centers Network hosted iftar for refugees and groups hosting them in 20 cities on the occasion of the World Refugees Day.​

MEYBEM Vocational Proficiency and Certification Center, supported by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), held an Vocational Proficiency Exam for CNC programmers in Akşehir, Konya, in partnership with the Akşehir Chamber of Commerce and Industry.​

The number of newly established companies, cooperatives and sole proprietorships decreased by 7,52%, 3,95% and 11,87% respectively, according to the previous month.​

TOBB Turkey Free Zones Council Chair Edvar Mum and Council Members Zeki Gürses and Mehmet Pulak visited TBMM Industry, Commerce, Energy, Natural Resources, Information and Technology Comission Chair Ziya Altunyaldız at his office.​

TOBB took part in the protest against the protective measures adopted by France targeting the international land transportation sector which would prove restrictive and negatively impact international trade with the 13 member organizations of the International Road Transportation Union (IRU) on July 1st, 2016, in Brussels.​

MEYBEM Vocational Proficiency and Certification Center, supported by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), held an Vocational Proficiency Exam for construction pattern-makers in Fatsa.​

Accounting training in regards to Law #5174 and Relevant Legislation in order to ensure parity and address the issues encountered by chambers and exchanges has concluded courses with the participation of commodity exchanges under TOBB’s organization.​
