Tekirdağ, İstanbul, Kayseri and Kırklareli Women Entrepreneur Councils visited TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu at his office. Hisarcıklıoğlu exchanged views with women entrepreneurs and had commemorative photographs taken. The visits were closed to the press. ​

The Asia-Pacific Economic Summit, hosted by TOBB President and CACCI Vice President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, ended after several parallel sessions, bilateral business meetings, council meetings, meeting and cooperation talks.​

On the second day of the 32nd CACCI (Confederation of Asian Chambers of Commerce and Industry) Conference held at the Istanbul Çırağan Palace, TOBB President and CACCI Vice President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu held bilateral meetings with various guests. ​

TOBB President and CACCI Vice President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in his speech at the 32nd CACCI Conference themed “Asia: Expanding Borders,” attended by the Minister of Commerce, Ruhsar Pekcan, said, “The Mediterranean was the ocean of the old world. The Atlantic is today's ocean. The Pacific is the ocean of the future. The center of gravity of the world economy is shifting to Far Asia.” Pointing out that the Pacific century has begun, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “All manner of products are produced here, in different quality and scales. With over 3 billion consumers, the largest global market is here. Both economic growth and the increase in imports of goods and services are above the world average. Therefore, the Asia Pacific region is becoming increasingly important for the global economy. It has a decisive power in the course of the world economy.”​

TOBB and TOBB University of Economics and Technology (TOBB ETU) Board of Trustees President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu in his November 24th Teachers' Day message stated that an investment in education and the value put on teachers will never incur loss.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu has been re-elected Vice President of CACCI (Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry). The Indian businessman Samir Modi took over the role of CACCI President from Jemal Inaishvili.​

Taking place simultaneously with the 32nd CACCI (Confederation Asia-Pacific of Chambers of Commerce and Industry) Summit which is bringing together the Turkish business community with the Asia-Pacific market with a population of 3 billion and a market volume of 5 trillion USD, various sessions highlighted issues and cooperation opportunities related to the trade and investment environment.​

TOBB President and CACCI Vice President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in his speech at a press conference for the 32nd CACCI Conference, pointed out that the Asia-Pacific region is driving global growth, and that they want to change and enlarge the trade and investment outlook with this region.​
