Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Technical meetings were held within the scope of the World Bank Ease of Business Index, which was carried out under the coordination of Vice-Presidency, Presidential Investment Office and Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).​

The State-Sponsored Commercial Credit Insurance System was introduced to the participants by the Public Insurance Commercial Credit Insurance Directorate during the Meetings of the General Assembly held at the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB). ​

Under the leadership of the Union of Chambers and Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), My Sister Project is being carried out in cooperation with Habitat Association, Coca-Cola Turkey and Istanbul Technical University in order to strengthen the social and economic positions of women and ensure that women are actively involved in economic development by equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills for participation in economic life.​

The Commissions and Councils of the Union of Chambers and Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) convened individually with the participation of TOBB Board Members.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board Member Mehmet Büyüksimitçi met with Cairo Resident Minister Myanmar Ambassador to Turkey Myint Lwin. During the meeting, Büyüksimitçi informed Ambassador Lwin about TOBB and its activities and exchanged ideas on the development of economic relations between the two countries.​

The first of the Information Seminars of the Women Entrepreneurs Council of the Union of Chambers and Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) began at TOBB. In the opening session of the seminar, TOBB Secretary General Mustafa Saraçöz addressed women entrepreneurs and gave information about the seminar. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Vice President Ayhan Zeytinoğlu attended the second meeting of the ABIS Advisory, Guidance and Coordination Board (DAYEK), which was created following Turkey's European Union Communications Strategy (ABIS) was implemented.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB)Vice President Tamer Kıran attended the Ukraine-Turkey Business Forum held at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the occasion of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's visit to Ukraine.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz attended a business dinner hosted by the Indonesian Embassy in Ankara in honor of Indonesian Deputy Minister of Commerce Dr. Jerry Sambuaga, who is in Turkey for official visits.​

The number of Capacity Reports, which was 73,303 in 2018, has increased by 3.25% to 75,681 in 2019.​
