Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

TOBB Arbitration Council met in Union headquarters. Agenda items of the Council had been evaluated.​

TOBB Vice President Ender Yorgancılar, during the speech he delivered at the award ceremony of Sectoral Performance Assessment organised by Kocaeli Chamber of Industry, stated that despite all the experienced problems it was very fortunate for the country to have firms that are dedicated their businesses and also achieved to improve their businesses while managed to survive. ​

TOBB Vice President Halim Mete, during the speech he made at conference for “Facilitation of Custom Procedures” organised by in cooperation with International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Turkey National Committee and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) stating that ICC being the largest business establishment working for increasing trade volume and investments, also said that ICC, in time bringing private sector representatives from different countries under the same roof, become a reference authority for world trade enhancement and eliminating obstacles to trading. ​

TOBB Turkey Paper and Paper Products Industry Council meeting held in TOBB Twin Towers under the chairmanship of Council President Erdal Sükan as well as participation by private and public sector representatives.​

TOBB Presidency Council Member and TOBB Accountant Member of the Board Faik Yavuz, attended the symposium for Public Procurement Law. Speaking at the opening of the symposium held at TOBB Twin Towers Yavuz pointed out their expectation from public procurements as national, public funds to be used most efficiently. ​

TOBB Board Member Yahya Toplu attended CBS Day Symposium and Expo held in ATO International Convention and Exhibition Centre, organised under the theme of “Living Space of Information Society: Smart Cities” by Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation in connection with World Geographic Information Systems (CBS) Days. ​

6th Education Conference themed “Qualified Teacher Training” held in cooperation with TOBB Turkey Education Council and Ministry of National Education at the TOBB Twin Towers Delivering a speech at the opening of the conference TOBB Presidency Council member and TOBB Accountant Member of the Board Faik Yavuz, emphasised that any investment made to education shall never make a loss and also said “The most important investment there shall be made to education is the one investing in educator.” ​

TOBB Account Member of the Board Faik Yavuz Bilim attended Publicity Meeting for Strategic Product and Support Programme and Protocol Signing Ceromony held under the aegis of Industry and Technology Minister Faruk Özlü and Transportation Maritime Affairs and Communication Minister Ahmet Arslan.​
