Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

At the TOBB Türkiye Medical Council meeting, it was emphasized that the period foreseen for the transition to the Medical Device Regulation (MDR) within the scope of EU harmonization has narrowed. During the meeting, Dr. Asım Hocaoğlu, President of the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (TİTCK), emphasized that the MDR transition process should be planned correctly by the medical device sector, while S. Zeki Murzioğlu, Vice President of the Board of Directors of TOBB, stated that they are ready to provide all necessary support to sector representatives in this process.​

Harmonization of the Industrial Emissions Directive 2010/75/EU, which is an important tool in the green transformation process in industry, is being carried out under the auspices of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.​

With the participation of TOBB Ankara Women Entrepreneurs Board Executive Committee Members and Ankara Chamber of Industry Secretary General Dr. Mehmet Cansız, 2024-2027 TOBB Ankara Women Entrepreneurs Board Strategic Plan Workshop and 4th Executive Committee Meeting were held at Ankara Commodity Exchange.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) TIR Committee was held at TOBB Twin Towers under the chairmanship of Tamer Kıran, Vice President of the Board of Directors of TOBB, with the participation of TIR Committee members.​

TOBB Provincial Women and Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Council Eastern Black Sea Regional Meeting was held at Hopa Chamber of Commerce and Industry.​

TOBB Vocational Education Board visited Ali Karagöz, Director General of Vocational and Technical Education of the Ministry of National Education. TOBB Vocational Education Board Chairman Şeref Kazcıoğlu, Vice Chairman Kasım Kabak, members Erol Hatırlı and İlhan Ambarkütükoğlu, TOBB Presidential Advisor Hasan Çağlayan Dündar, Real Sector R&D and Implementation Department Head Mustafa Kemal Günay attended the visit.​

The Presidential Council Meeting of the European Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Eurochambres), of which M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), is Vice President, was held in Brussels.​

The “Capacity Report Expert Training,” which must be taken by those who will be assigned to issue the Capacity Report from the experts on the Chamber Expert lists, was held online.​

The Training Program on Establishing a Supportive Policy Framework for Promoting Youth and Women Entrepreneurship was held online between 9-10 January 2024 with the support of TOBB.​
