The Council’s first elective meeting was held in Ankara under the chairmanship of Hakan Ülken, a member of the TOBB Board of Directors, to elect the Council’s Executive Board and discuss current issues in the sector.
In his opening remarks, Hakan Ülken explained the purpose of establishing sector councils and their operating principles. He emphasized that sector councils serve as an effective mechanism operating in collaboration with the public sector, and expressed his belief that the Turkish Health Services Council, through its initiatives in this regard, would play a significant role in establishing our country as a trusted brand in the field of health services, particularly in standardizing private health services and enhancing patient satisfaction. He also extended his best wishes for success to the newly elected council members and the new Presidium in this challenging task during the upcoming term.
- Election of the Assembly Presidium
Following the opening remarks, the election of the Assembly Presidium took place. Gülçin Türkmen Sarıyıldız, General Manager of Medicana Hospitals, was elected as Assembly President, while Yusuf Ziya Yıldırım, a member of the Board of Directors at Sanko Gaziantep Private Health Hospital, was elected as Assembly Vice President.
Following a general assessment of the healthcare sector, the newly formed Assembly began its work based on the established roadmap.
