Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

French companies with investments in Turkey and which recognized the rapidly deteriorating state of relations between the two countries, which observed the situation with apprehension, have written to the French President Nicolas Sarkozy explaining that the law would have negative impact on relations.

These companies, registered to chambers in Turkey, relayed the view of Turkey on the matter, the sensitivity of the people to the subject and the possible outcomes of the ratification of the law.

We, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, would like to thank these companies which have recognized the gravity of the situation.
