Of the 3,459 capacity reports approved in August; 1,027 were in Istanbul, 229 were in Ankara, 216 were in Izmir, 185 were in Bursa, 121 were in Gaziantep, 117 were in Konya, 111 were in Kocaeli, 78 were in Adana and Mersin, 70 were in Manisa, 69 were in Denizli and Kayseri.

The total number of active capacity reports in the TOBB Industry Database is 65,629 with the number of employees in these workplaces is 2,883,362.

Capacity reports are compiled by local Chambers and approved by TOBB for: bench production; establishments which extract subterranean resources for the purpose of producing in mass or in a standardized manner, using tools or machinery to process half- and fully-processed products to change their properties, contents, composition or shape, fully or partially; informatics technologies and software development.​
