Zeki Kıvanç in his speech, stated that the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, believes strongly in the importance of the work on sustainable development and climate change.

Kıvanç stated that it is very important to act in a participatory manner in the preparation of policy instruments. “We all know the importance of sustainable development. In this regard, we observe that there is a significant awareness increase in our country, especially in the business environment. It is our duty to leave a cleaner, more habitable environment for future generations. 2030 United Nations Sustainable Development targets have been agreed upon. The target is set, but there are problems in practice. The most important issue in overcoming this problem is the lack of collective action.”
