Hisarcıklıoğlu said in his press release:
"The Feast of Sacrifice expresses coming closer to Allah, submission to Him and our feelings of gratitude. Holidays are occasions of unity and solidarity and for those who have to share with those who don't. The true meaning of these beautiful days is putting aside of difference and embracing each other in the spirit of brotherhood. Holidays are the single most poignant reminder for us of love and friendship.
It is our greatest wish that Muslims living in various parts of the world embroiled in war and calamity and all humanity attain a state of peace and love as well as humane standards of living.
It is with these feelings and thoughts that I, on behalf of the Turkish business community, wish that the holy Feast of Sacrifice brings our great nation, the Islam world and all humanity happiness and peace."
