TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu expressed that they are pleased to host Minister Bozkır in his reciprocal visit, stating that they are prepared to provide any and all support to the EU and the reform process as civil society organization.

EU Minister and Chief Negotiator Volkan Bozkır presented his condolences in regards to the martyring of two police officers. “It is inevitable that Turkey, having maintained its stability despite the conflagration surrounding it, would be the target of ploys to draw it into the fire as well,” said Bozkır and went on, “Turkey will overcome these issues as it always has done.”
