European Commission Development Report assessed by EUROCHAMBRES

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu presided over the EUROCHAMBRES European Commission and Neighborhood Policy Committee which took place in Brussels.​

The meeting which took place a week after the development report’s announcement, European Commission Development Report and Expansion Strategy and Visa Freedom as well as the Readmission Agreement were discussed.

 

Attending the meeting, Transparency International representative Carl Dolan commented on the Development  Report’s findings on transparency and fight against corruption. Dolan also provided information in regards to his own work.

 

The Italian Chambers Union and the Serbian Chambers Union provided information on the endeavors of their chambers on this issue.
