Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

TOBB President and the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry (EUROCHAMBRES) Vice President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the third European Parliament of Enterprises meeting with a delegation of TOBB Board Members and Chamber/Exchange Presidents.

The European Parliament General Assembly was attended by over 800 enterprises from Europe. Enterprises from all sectors and all scales conveyed the expectations of the business community to the EU institutions.

Speaking during the meeting, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu spoke in regards to Turkey’s B20 term presidency work principles and itinerary.

The TOBB delegation voiced their opinions and directed questions to EU institution representatives. Among the opinions relayed were the inclusion of Turkey in the TTIP, vocational training, access to financial tools and energy.
