“As the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, we commemorate once again the founder of our Republic, the great statesman Mustafa Kemal Atatürk with respect, gratitude and appreciation; as the Turkish business community we renew our determination to serve and protect our country.

Atatürk’s words have become our rallying cry: ‘Merchants are those individuals whose hands and intelligences have been entrusted with increasing the value of the people’s labor and production and must prove themselves worthy of this endeavor.’

It is with this principle that we believe that honoring His memory is only possible through genuinely understanding Him; that we will fly our flag throughout the world in our enterprises and will reach the goals set for our republic.

We believe in Turkey. We are determined to serve our country. We are cognizant of the fact that we are charged with tirelessly putting forth effort, working hard and increasing production in order to ensure an honorable place for our nation’s in the modern world.
