During the first three quarters of 2014, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey was at the forefront with 25,195 articles regarding unions, associations and chambers. According to the research conducted by the media tracking agency, Interpress, the top issues ranged from meetings in various countries for increasing domestic and international trade to, business life and precautions which need to be taken in regards to work accidents.
According to the same data, the various statements made by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu were the subject of approximately 2,000 articles in various publications. Articles pertaining to President Hisarcıklıoğlu’s resignation from the Foreign Economic Relations Council (DEİK) Board Membership, the ongoing efforts to spped up the trade process with the USA were among the most published.
