Reporting that the seminars organized for chamber and exchange presidents have been expanded for approximately 10,000 council members, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “There is a beautiful saying in our culture: “Can those who know and those who don’t ever be equal?” Those who know are always a step ahead. I believe that informing the business community in regards to TOBB’s activities and works in order to remind them of the opportunities present to them as well as personal improvement.”

Stating that council members take office after hard elections, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu said that they are the sector leaders of their regions and have to be the most familiar with them.

Pointing out that the offices council members hold is an important opportunity, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “There is no money involved in our line of work. This, however, is a great opportunity to serve our cities and people. If you believe that the most beneficent of people are the people who are beneficent unto others, there is no better opportunity.”

Providing information in regards to the accreditation system they’ve implemented, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that TOBB has come to export knowledge whereas it needed to import it before. Stating that the accredited chambers are called 5-star chambers, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “This is because they provide the same quality of service of any chamber in Berlin, London or Paris. Our goal is to bring all of our chambers to this level.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu also provided information on the 81 academic consultants for 81 provinces project, stressing that consultants will act as on important bridge.
