TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Gümüşhacıköy Municipality Director Zehra Özyol, celebrating Women’s Day and providing information on the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs’ Council.

Afterwards, Hisarcıklıoğlu paid a courtesy visit to the Gümüşhacıköy Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Congratulating Municipality Director Özyol, Hisarcıklıoğlu celebrated Women’s Day, stressing the importance of women entrepreneurs for Turkey’s development. He went on to state that women make up a very small part of the workforce, presenting a very large portion of our potential being wasted.

Hisarcıklıoğlu reported that TOBB is working on a project to provide young and women entrepreneurs to more easily access credit loans.

Gümüşhacıköy Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Can Keleş also celebrated Women’s Day stated that Gümüşhacıköy is effected worst by unemployment and immigration.

Gümüşhacıköy Municipality Director Zehra Özyol expressed her happiness for Hisarcıklıoğlu’s visit and requested that more investments be aimed towards Gümüşhacıköy.
