TOBB Board of Director Vice President Faik Yavuz hosted the Kazakhstan Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Industry and New Technology, Aser İserkeşev during lunch.​

During the meeting, Yavuz emphasized that Turkey was the first country to recognize Kazakhstan’s independence while Deputy Prime Minister İsekeşev stated that the relations with Turkey, which were good to begin with, have become even better over the recent years. İsekeşev stated that the relations would become even better with the state visit of the Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev to Turkey on the 11th and 12th of October, 2012, and would also give rise to new business opportunities.

- Kazakhstan’s growth numbers drawing attention

Stating that Kazakhstan’s growth numbers are garnering attention throughout the world, TOBB Board Vice President Yavuz said that the bilateral trade volume between them had increased significantly.

Providing information regarding TOBB’s international project and Organized Industry Zone work, Yavuz added that they would be working even more closely with Kazakhstan in the future.
