​In the program starting with an openning speech by Mr. İskender Elverdi, TOBB’s Acting Deputy Secretary General, participants were informed about the numerous tasks and activities carried out by TOBB within the framework of TOBB’s legal and organizational structure, and briefed about the TOBB-associated TOBB Economy and Technology University (TOBB ETÜ) and Economy Policy Research Foundation of Turkey (TEPAV). In his speech, Mr. Elverdi underlined the importance of the “Private-Public Partnership” in accomplishing the target of entering the first 10 economies globally by the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Republic’s establishment in 2023. At the end of the program, district governor candidate Mr. Ali Doğan gave flowers to Mr. İskender Elverdi on behalf of the group, and the lunch was eaten together at TOBB’s halls. Samples of TOBB’s publications were also given out to the participants.
