Born in Eskişehir on May 3rd, 1959 Ömer Zeydan graduated from Eskişehir Atatürk High School and graduated from the Faculty of Economics of Anadolu University and later on from Anadolu University Law Department / Justice program. He is 4th generation member of his family company Zeydanlar Wholesale Food and Construction which is engaged mainly in pulses wholesaling; he is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of Espa Co. Inc. Zeydan has also been Bursa Eskişehir Bilecik Development Agency (BEBKA) Chairman of the Development Board and member of the Assembly of National Grain Council.

 

Zeydan, who has been a member of the ETB since 1986, was elected as a member of the ETB Board of Directors during 2005-2009 and served as Deputy Chairman of the Assembly from 2009 to 2013. Between 2013 and 2018 he served as the President of ETB Board of Directors. Ömer Zeydan, who also served as a member of the TOBB Commodity Exchange Council during the period of 2013-2018, has been involved in various social responsibility projects. He was re-elected as the President of ETB Board of Directors in the ETB Elections held on April 1st, 2018.

 

Ömer Zeydan was elected to TOBB Board of Directors and TOBB Commodity Exchange Council member in TOBB organ elections held in May 2018.

 

Ömer Zeydan is married and has two children.
